Climbing Mount Snowdon — Wales’s Highest Peak
Climbing Mount Snowdon is one of the top adventures Wales has to offer! At 1,085 meters, Mount Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales (and taller than anything in England as well — only Scotland has higher peaks!), and climbing it is a rite of passage for adrenaline junkies in the UK. Mount Snowdon is part of Snowdonia National Park, the most popular attraction in North Wales. This was my introduction to Snowdonia, and climbing Snowdon was a great was to get introduced to the park. Dave and I climbed Snowdon yesterday, and I’ve put together a guide for would-be climbers.
