Checking into an Aman resort feels like entering another universe: The group’s 33 international properties are architectural masterpieces: serene, intimate spaces where pavilions sit on cliffs overlooking the sea (the 36-room Amanoi in Vietnam) and low-profile stone buildings grant uninterrupted views of otherworldly plateaus (the 35-room Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah). Aman’s spas up the escapism ante even more, with treatments and journeys rooted in the brand’s Southeast Asian origins (the original Aman, Amanpuri, debuted in Phuket, Thailand, in 1988). Travelers can now bring a bit of that essence home, with the recent release of a 30-item skin-care collection. Products are divided into three categories – Grounding, Purifying, and Nourishing – and include everything from body butters and bath soaks to face serums and masks.
